UNICEF Azerbaijan asked me to make a 25-minute documentary about juvenile justice in Azerbaijan, and accompanying social media materials for a campaign. The advocacy aim was to try and change laws related to juvenile justice and to improve conditions in detention centers. Scroll down to see the documentary and the set of social media materials.  


The social media campaign was designed to run on the usual social media suspects: Instagram and Facebook, but also were designed to be screened in shopping malls. The graphics had to convey a message in the short time it took someone to ride up an escalator. All materials were done in both Azerbaijani and English. 


In order to have visual images that work on Instagram and Facebook over a period of 10 days, images with quotes from the documentary were used.
